Fees
Our current rates for Columbia University researchers are:

LSR II Analyzer or LSR Fortessa
$58/hour

FACS Aria II Sorter
$65/hour

Zeiss LSM-710 Confocal
$65/hour (9am-5pm) or $45/hour (off-peak hours)

Fees for outside researchers are available upon request.

Detailed explanations of the capabilities of the BD LSR II, LSR Fortessa and FACS Aria II SORP may be found under Instruments. Consult the LSR II user guide, the LSR Fortessa user guide, or the FACS Aria II sample preparation guide for more information.

Policies
The LSR II and LSR Fortessa are available for use by trained personnel. An introductory course on the basic theory of flow cytometry and instrument operation and troubleshooting is available upon request. Please email the Core Managers for more information, or to schedule training.

For any potentially pathogenic samples, including human tissue samples, users are required to provide biosafety information including cell type, origin of sample, and special requirements before the initial sort is performed.
